Kook 1 hele kip even in ± 1/2 liter water met 1 bouillontablet.
Vermeng 1 grote, gesnipperde ui, 3 geperste teentjes knoflook, 1 theelepel
rietsuiker, een scheutje gembersiroop, 1 verkruimelde bouillontablet, een
flinke scheut ketjap manis en 1 eetlepel citroensap.
Doe dit mengsel bij de kip en laat de kip in ± 1 1/2 uur verder
gaar worden.
Vermeng voor de saus de kippenbouillon met 1 in plakjes gesneden wortel, 1
in ringen gesneden prei, 1 theelepel rietsuiker, wat citroensap, wat
gembersiroop, 1 cm santen, een scheut ketjap manis en 1 eetlepel kerrie en
laat het geheel inkoken.
Zeef de saus en bind haar eventueel met wat aangelengde bloem.
