125 gedroogde abrikozen
400 gr kipfilet
50 gr boter
1 flinke ui
zout, peper
1 theelepel kaneel
1 theelepel kerrie
1 blikje tomatenpuree
2 theelepels citroenmelisse
50 gr walnoten
2 eetlepels room

Week de gedroogde abrikozen een nacht in 2 1/2 dl water.
Snijd de kipfilet in mooie stukjes en braad ze in de boter bruin.
Snipper de ui en pers de knoflook uit.
Voeg ze aan het vlees toe, samen met zout en peper, kaneel en kerrie.
Voeg, als het vlees wat zachter is geworden, de tomatenpuree, het
abrikozenweekwater, de citroenmelisse en de abrikozen toe en stoof alles
30 minuten.
Neem de pan van het vuur en roer er de grof gehakte walnoten en de room
door.
