300 gr rijst
400 gr kipfilet
peper, zout
75 gr boter
4 gembernootjes
2 eetlepels gembersiroop
2 1/2 dl kippenbouillon
2 theelepels aardappelmeel
2 stevige bananen
amandelschaafsel

Kook de rijst op de gebruikelijke wijze gaar.
Snijd de kipfilet in grove stukken, bestrooi die met zout en peper en bak
ze in het grootste deel van de boter in ± 15 minuten bruin en
gaar.
Hak de gembernotjes zo fijn mogelijk en voeg dit, samen met de
gembersiroop, aan de bouillon toe.
Verwarm de bouillon en bind de saus met wat aardappelmeel.
Breng de saus eventueel op smaak met peper.
Pel de bananen, snijd ze in vieren en snijd ieder stuk in de lengte
door.
Bak de stukken banaan in de rest van de boter snel aan weerskanten.
Verdeel de rijst over de borden en schep op ieder bord achtereenvolgens
kip, saus en stukken banaan.
Bestrooi het geheel met amandelschaafsel.
