500 gr lamsvlees zonder bot
2 grote uien
2 teentjes knoflook
een stukje verse gemberwortel van 2 cm
2 tomaten
2 eetlepels olie
1 theelepel geelwortel (kurkuma)
1 theelepel chilipoeder
1 theelepel garam masala
1 theelepel gemalen koriander
2 eetlepels yoghurt
sterrenkers
zout, peper

Snijd het vlees in blokjes.
Pel de uien en de knoflook en snipper ze fijn.
Schil de gemberwortel en snijd hem fijn.
Was de tomaten en snijd ze klein.
Verwarm de olie in een ovenvaste schaal van tenminste 2 liter inhoud,
onafgedekt, 1 minuut op 100%.
Schep de uien, de knoflook en de gember erdoor en verwarm alles,
onafgedekt, 4-5 minuten op 100%.
Roer de tomaten, de kruiden, het vlees en, als laatste, de yoghurt erdoor
en verwarm de curry, afgedekt, 20-22 minuten op 50% tot het vlees gaar
is.
Roer de curry tussendoor eenmaal om.
Breng de schotel op smaak met zout en peper.
Geef er rijst of gekookte aardappelen bij.
