Schelpjespasta met venkel en blauwe kaas

1 grote venkelknol
1 grote ui
2 pakjes Danish Blue
1 groot bekertje crème fraîche
2 teentjes knoflook
2 glazen witte wijn
500 gr gnocchi
500 gr kipfilet
veel gemalen peper
wat olie om in te bakken

Snijd de ui en de venkel vrij fijn en pers de knoflook uit.
Bak de kleingesneden kipfilet in wat olie even aan.
voeg dan de ui, venkel en knoflook toe en laat dit 10 minuten bakken.
Maal er flink peper over, schenk de wijn erbij, zet het vuur laag, leg het
deksel op de pan en laat het geheel 15 minuten zachtjes pruttelen.
Kook intussen de gnocchi gaar en giet ze af..
Brokkel de blauwe kaas over de saus en roer die erdoor.
Roer er, als de kaas is gesmolten, de crème fraîche door.
Laat de saus nu niet meer koken, maar houd haar wel warm.
U kunt de gnocchi door de saus mengen of ze apart serveren.
