2 kg spareribs
5 dl zoete ketjap
3 dl ketchup
1 eetlepel mosterd
1/2 eetlepel Provençaalse kruiden
5 geperste tenen knoflook
2 kleine citroenen met schil, in achten gesneden
suiker naar smaak

Doe alle ingrediënten, behalve de ribs, met 1/2 liter water in een
grote pan en breng dit aan de kook.
Voeg de ribs toe, breng opnieuw aan de kook en laat alles met het deksel
op de pan 20 minuten hard doorkoken.
Neem de ribs uit de pan en kook de vloeistof in tot hij goed stroperig
is.
Schenk de hete vloeistof over de ribs, laat alles afkoelen en zet het 24
uur in de koelkast.
Bak de ribs krokant in een hete oven, onder de grill of op de barbecue en
serveer ze met knoflookboter.
