1 pak zelfrijzend bakmeel
400 gr bruine basterdsuiker
3 eetlepels honing
6 theelepels speculaaskruiden
4 eieren
3 dl water

Mix de eieren 5 minuten met de suiker en voeg daarna de kruiden, de honing
en het water toe.
Doe er de gezeefde bloem bij en kneed tot een deeg.
Verdeel dit in 2 met boter ingevette broodbakblikken en bak de koeken 1
uur in een op 160°C voorverwarmde oven.
Haal de peperkoeken uit de bakblikken en laat ze 10 minuten afkoelen.
Doe ze dan in een plastic zak, anders krijgen ze een te harde korst.
